The Georgia Young Republicans continue to organize across the state as the year draws to a close, and new leaders rise up to lead local initiatives. This December marks the fourth club chartering in 2013 with clubs being formed in Rockdale, Henry, and Gwinnett Counties, as well as the South Georgia club in Valdosta.
“We’re pleased to announce our new clubs as they drive home the message of conservative Republican principles to young professionals across Georgia. We look forward to helping them become political pillars in their communities that will surely lead us to a brighter tomorrow.” Said GYR Chairman Meagan Hanson.
The group of rising stars includes Rockdale County Chairman Joseph Roberts, Henry County Chairman Charles Hoard, Gwinnett County Chairwoman Mere Jones, South Georgia Chairman Ben Smith.
The newly-formed local & regional clubs will join the Georgia Young Republicans in their 2014 state wide efforts. These intitiatives include educating young voters on the impact of the ACA/Obamacare on young professionals and rallying support for our Republican candidates as they campaign for the November General Election.
